Hi,

Hope everyone's well.

I have recently come across an error when trying to connect to a database using a bespoke front-end tool. When I correctly enter the credentials and browse the databases on that server and then select the correct database and Test connection I get an error.

The credentials I've entered to connect to the database in question are Sysadmin so I doubt it's a permission issue.

The error is below.

The following error(s) occured:
-There was an error deploying .NET CLR SQL extensions to the <database>. Please ensure you have sysadmin privileges on the <database>. Then, please check the user that the <Database> is running under.
Inner exception:
ExecuteNonQuery failed for Database <Database>
HelpLink:BaseHekpURL:....
Microsoft.SQLServermanagement.Smo.ExceptionTemplates.FailedOperationExceptionText
Could not load file or assembly

This will be part bespoke frontend tool error message but it was just to see if anyone has seen a message like it and what they did to resolve?

Many thanks
