Hi,Enabling trace flag in start up is recommended and whether it is no way related to performance and also i believe that it depends on type of trace flag, as I'm going to enable TF 1222 I want to know whether it will not have any performance impact and moreover i can able to get the deadlock information from custom errorlog is it advisable to enable in SQL SERVER though it may be unnecessary.Looking for expert advice. |

Enabling Trace Flag will not be much of a concern. But as you say, it may be unnecessary depending on how frequently deadlocks occur in your server. If deadlocks are frequent, you should be able to get enough information reg deadlocks from ERRORLOG itself.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SQL Server MVPhttp://visakhm.blogspot.com/https://www.facebook.com/VmBlogs |
