We're having some performance issues with our SQL-server.

If I'm correct there are a least 2 processes running for SSRS:
ReportingServicesService & w3wp.

I want to know what they do.
reportingservicesservice: gets the data and does the calculations?
w3wp: does the formatting of the report?

Resource utilization for reportingservicesservice can be manipulated in rsreportserver.config
and for w3wp in iis application pool settings?

Best regards
