Can SQL Express (free version) deal with Logon Triggers?

Meaning, can it use them, can i write them, etc.?

i haven't yet. I need a local instance of sql installed on one of my PC's at work. To get it done, i need to follow a very tedious request process and the likelihood of getting a paid version approved is zero. If the free version will deal with what i need it to, i'll request it be installed.

Bureaucracy.

Indeed. I've begun the six month, uber-triplicate process of requesting this free software be installed on my PC.

Ugh.
