I did designed an application some years ago with with vb6 and mssql 2000. In the application I did backup/restore using dmo. Now the database has been upgraded from sql 2000 to MSSQL 2008R2, and the backup/restore is not working again since sql 2008R2 uses SMO.
Please help me

You can find it here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms141187(v=sql.105).aspx

Note the first sentence on that page though: "This feature will be removed in the next version of Microsoft SQL Server. Avoid using this feature in new development work, and plan to modify applications that currently use this feature."
