I've been playing around with this new feature in 2014 and have had amazing performance improvements for writes.

When delayed durability is turned on I do 10,000 individual writes in 1.4 seconds. With it turned off it takes 15 seconds.

I'm not overly concerned about possible data loss (which would be minimal if RAM was flushed) but I am concerned because my tlog became corrupt last night after having turned it on. I don't know if it is a coincidence. Anyone have any experience using it?

The only drawback is if tlog writes takes that long and application have continued and suddenly tlog is rolling back.
Could be a bummer and difficult to handle. But it would only be in the case if tlog is completely full.
