Hi,
I have dropped one computed column from my table and tried to recreate it with persisted option. it takes more than half an hour so i cancelled the query. the query cancellation is execution for more than 1 hour. and the query status is suspended.

what action needs to be taken?

thanks
subha

update Administrator
set Action = max(Patience)
where SchemaChange = 1
and Size >= Medium

You need to be patient and the rollback will complete... The fact that the schema changed takes time. The fact that the database is fairly large takes time. The "Code" is just a (perhaps not very clever) joke saying that YOU, the administrator, need to maximize your patience when the rollback involves schema changes and the database is bigger than medium size.
