70-450 expired on July 31, 2013 as far as I know.

Here are the current SQL Server certifications:

https://www.microsoft.com/learning/en-us/sql-certification.aspx

Here are retired exams:

https://www.microsoft.com/learning/en-us/retired-certification-exams.aspx

While they haven't technically retired 70-450 or MCITP 2008 yet, they're going to retire all pre-SQL 2012 stuff pretty soon. MCTS/MCITP are essentially obsolete. And they're already updating the MCSA and MCSE to cover SQL Server 2014.

If you have an MCTS in 2008 you are better off going for the MCSA:

https://www.microsoft.com/learning/en-us/mcsa-sql-certification.aspx

You can take 70-457 and 70-458 together instead of 70-461, 70-462 and 70-463. There's also a 25% discount for 70-457 + 458:

http://bsf01.com/Microsoft_Vouchers/MCSA_SQLServer_2012_Upgrade.aspx

I just recently bought this and passed the 70-457 exam, I'm studying for the 70-458. It's a really good deal if you can take advantage of it.
