I'm trying to troubleshoot an issue and noticed that the database name under DatabaseName column shows up as master instead of the actual name of the database. I know master keeps information on the user databases. But I'm just curious why the name of the master database should come up here. Thanks, |

It's because that's what the spid connected to. You can't rely on that column, though I do include it in my traces.Tara KizerSQL Server MVP since 2007http://weblogs.sqlteam.com/tarad/ |
