Hi all,
I used Microsoft Server Management Studio (2008) before, and I know some technical things of T-SQL. Now, I saw the following things of Microsoft SQL Server 2012 in my PC that is in Windows 7/Computer Network System:
1) Download Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Compact
2) Import and Export (64-bit)
3) Import and Export (32-bit)
4) SQL Server Data Tools
5) SQL Server Management Studio
6) Configuration Tools
7) Documentation & Community
8) Integration Services
Do I have a Database Engine in my Microsoft SQL Server 2012 that has 1) thru 8) listed above? How can I set up a database in my Microsoft SQL Server 2012 to the Spatial (XY-coordinates & Z for Elevation) and the Non-Spatial (like chemical results) data? I am very new in getting Microsoft SQL Server 2012 started and set up to obtain a necessary Service Account. Please kindly help, advise and respond.
Thanks in advance,
Scott Chang

Show us what you have for services (Admin Tools..Services) that start with SQL.
