Hi

There is SSIS Packages residing on 2005 Version is upgraded to 2008 R 2 Version where the components with Database + SSIS and REPORTS needs to migrate / Transfer across the servers instance.

Database comes along with Backup being used and comes along with their Stored Procedures and SQL Agent Jobs being created;

Reports comes along with the Subscriptions being transferred across to the new (2008 R 2) Servers Instance is all done.

There exists an application which needs to be re-created on the new platform as well and this is also has been accomplished.

But, Could anyone let me know as to how this SSIS related packages can be upgraded / Migrated / Transfer.

Many thanks for your scripts as I have no knowledge as to how this SSIS component can be brought across from 2005 to 2008 R 2.

Export the packages to the file system then open them in 2008R2 BIDS to convert them.
