Hi all..

Just wanted to let you all know that I am TOTALLY against the US/UK aggression towards the people of Iraq and I hope that some sort of peaceful solution is reached.

We should all be allowed to live in peace and pursue our dreams and ambitions no matter where we come from.

If you live in the UK, then I recommend you buy the Daily mirror today as they have a very good front page. (For once the Daily Mirror is actually printing something worthwhile!)

I say this because as a human being I feel it is my duty to voice my opinion and add my voice to the 80% of the UK population who oppose such unjust and rogue-like aggression against a nation ravaged by sanctions and living in a terror like state.

God help them AND us ordinary people out there.

Regards.

no worries... I read it in the papers this morning... mind you.. it is obviously 80% of xxx number of people they quizzed so it doesn't REALLy reflect the true feelings of the whole nation. Still, most people I know including friends at work also find the situation pretty sad.

I put it here because I want everybody that knows me to know that I do not agree with what my government is/willing to do to another nation. It has nothing to with weblogs or anything else.

LOL.... you should see the amount of letters I send to the BBC etc..

Interesting fact: it's a new moon the day after Bush and Blair have their next chat.

Crespo,
Do you know what nuclear blackmail looks like? We were treated to a free preview with the DPRK (yes, that's the Democratic People's Republic of Korea). Rather ugly, I'm sure you would agree.

An interesting point, but, as yet, the nuclear ability of Iraq is zero, whereas north korea is happily progressing away with a nuclear programme that could directly affect more countries than Iraq, whose own weapons have an effective range of about 3 miles. The difference of Bush's response to these two countries is quite marked, and speaks volumes about what he's really after.

It is not really me intention for you guys to start debating these issues. I merely stated my own opinion because I do not agree with unjust causes whatever they are.

Yes... indeed.. I suggest you ask Mr Rumsfeld.. you know.. the one that was shaking Saddam's hands not so long ago after doing some nice business deals involving (Nappies probably), or was it some more weapons?! Nuff said.
