How do I tell what Service Packs have been applied to my SQL 7 server?

Also, should I apply SP 4 before upgrading to 2k?

Thanks!

Run SELECT @@VERSION in Query Analyzer.

It is always a good idea to be on the latest service pack when the service pack has been out for a while. Service pack 4 is not required to upgrade to 2000 though, but yes go ahead and apply it.
