Do a test upgrade to v7 - that highlights a lot of problems - keywords etc. after fixing those you can use your suggested method. There are a few nasties in the ways queries work but you will find them.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |

SQL Server 6.5 runs fine on Windows 2000, but you have to have service pack 5a installed for it to work. Other than that, you should be fine. But upgrade it to SQL 2000!Tara |
