How do I connect to SQL Server 2k over a network using Oricle 9i.I have configured the oracle tnsnames.ora with correct I/P, Port and Service Name.The Error Message I recieve is:ORA-12537: TNS:connection closed |

I don't think that you can. You can connect to Oracle from SQL Server using linked servers. Does Oracle have a linked server concept?Tara |

Found the information I needed.It is a 2 step process1. You need to google for a "ODBC Driver" - can be had for free.2. Config the 9i system as follows:http://www.cise.ufl.edu/help/database/oracle-docs/server.920/a96544/admin.htm#169283 Done. |
