How do I connect to SQL Server 2k over a network using Oricle 9i.
I have configured the oracle tnsnames.ora with correct
I/P, Port and Service Name.

The Error Message I recieve is:

ORA-12537: TNS:connection closed

I don't think that you can. You can connect to Oracle from SQL Server using linked servers. Does Oracle have a linked server concept?

Found the information I needed.

It is a 2 step process

1. You need to google for a "ODBC Driver" - can be had for free.
2. Config the 9i system as follows:
