| Hi friends,I am trying to setup log shipping from Master_Server to Stand_by. I have shared Backup folder in Master_Server. I can access this folder from any PC in the netwok(//Master_Server/Backup). In the final steps, the first step “Backup” occurs successfully without any problem. The second step fails with the error “Unable to copy the initialization file to the secondary server.....First I thought it is because of some network problem.But when I try to do the same thing in same machine (Master_Server) it gives the same error. Any idea about this?? |

| Yes, I was using,sa with same password in Master & Standby.and Administrator also have the same password.And moreover it is not running in the Master itself (I have mentioned).The size of database backup is 10GB. Backup schedule is every 15 min.Copy/Load frequency 15 min.Load delay 0 min.File retention period. 24 hrs.Backup alert threshold 45 min.Out of sync alert threshold 45 min. Is there any problem with this? |
