Okay, if I create this table

create table tab1 (servername sysname)

Then go to enterprise manager and try to change "servername" so it's the primary key I get a box saying "property cannot be modified".

But I can do

alter table tab1 add constraint pk_tab1 PRIMARY KEY CLUSTERED (servername)

'Tis odd.
