| I have been accused of being a cynic for my (Users <> Logic) I just thought I would share a few actual accounts.1. If you don’t know what it is go ahead and click on it to find out.2. The faster you click and click and click on a link the faster it will connect.3. Those IT rules are just for everyone else because I know what I am doing.4. You can’t really find out where I was, I deleted the history.5. So what if I mess it up, it’s just is job security you.6. We got plenty of bandwidth so why can’t I watch my soaps.7. I got this program from the guy next door what will it hurt to install it, he is on his computer all the time so he must know what he is doing.8. Why can’t I have Owner access to the database? What are you trying to hide?9. Why do you have to track when I change a record? Are you Big Brother?10. The porn is on my CD not on your Computer so it does not count.11. Yahoo chat does not interfere with my productivity. I was not doing anything anyway.12. If you did not want me to download that why did you make it so I could?13. It’s my e-mail address I will put it on any website I wish.14. Will you please stop sending the Viagra adds to my computer.15. I wanted a new screen saver and now my computer locks up when I turn it on.And the best.I did not do anything ….. you must have done it to make me look bad. (note: this individual still had the install disk in her hand when confronted)JimUsers <> Logic |

Me too but who got to clean up the mess?I actually have one that I still have not fixed. A user clicked on a website download that added several addins for web shopping. ( with catagorys like Shoes, evening wear, Jewelry Ext.) She knew she screwed up and came to me right away. I uninstalled most of it, But it added a seach bar to I.E. You can turn it off but it restarts itself when you open I.E. again. This one has me baffeled I have gone through her harddrive 3 times and cannot find where this little bugger resides or how it is reinitiateing itself.JimUsers <> Logic |
