SamC just dropped a note...he's up to his eyeballs in sh-t

BUT the database is holding up well

AND he sparked an idea...

A Winter excursion to Whilster/Blackcomb...betcha we get a good discount rate...

Don't be afraid Jim, it's only 2 mountains a mile vertical each...

Gotta look for some deals....

"who's Sma"

It's like an SLA, but it appears to be a Skiing Mountain Agreement!

I thought Alpine was in Europe, but I'm not sure that Whilster/Blackcomb is over here :-(

Looks fun.

You skied Europe? I love Courchevel, France. 200 lifts, 330 trails, total trail length 600 km. Fabulous food on the piste. Dramatic scenary.

http://www.les3vallees.com/uk/012_plan.html and try the "flash" Itinery. Try depart from Couchevel on the left as Expert in Good sun. That's a long way and a great way to spend a day!

If we do get a package deal, I wonder if we could purchase it through the SQLTeam store...I guess you go right through an agent...

Did you see the size comparissons on the trail map...

Here..

http://www.whistlerblackcomb.com/maps/

It's a pretty cool interactive trail map the allows you to superimpose the acreage of other resorts...

Looks like Quite a place.
I have not heard much about Sking in B.C.
My kid brother said he would like to go there in a year or so.

Looks like it might be on the Icey side. (then Again what else do we have here)

Whistler / Blackcomb is one of the best places to ski in North America. It's not far from here, so if you go, let me know and maybe I'll see you on the slopes.

Good thing I did not go to Whilster/Blackcomb.

Went to Bittersweet (just a lttle hill) on tuesday had a fun morning.
we had two black dimond runs just about to ourselves.
Ski down and right on to a chair. Did 48 runs in 2.5 hours.
Then it got warm and the sun came out, Man did it get sticky.
We decided to leave, on the run down I had a kid cut in front of me and his board gave him a face plant. I managed to avoid him but caught a tip witch resulted in one wrenched knee and a yard sale.

How short are those runs? The ones over here are about a mile long. Even with short lines and zipping down the mountain, we can't get in that much.

Are you lot trying to get your lift pass down to $.02 cents a ride? <g>

Now then, for me, I like a nice long lunch to help me enjoy the skiing ...
