So I know this edition well. Now I have to develop this software which I need the original cd of SQL Server. Since I know the personal edition I tried to get it. But Microsoft Sri Lankan office told me that the personal edition is not for sale now.So my first question is 1. How can I get it SQL Server personal edition?Microsoft Sri Lanka told me they have developer’s edition and I can buy that. But I have never used this developer’s edition. So my other questions are2. all the operating systems that developers edition can install3. the amount of data I can insert in to this server4. and other system requirements5. Personal edition has this feature, we can export or import data from and to excel access txt word and lots of more file types. This feature is very important to me to develop this soft ware. So my question is is this feature available in developers edition?Note that I need help very fast any one who can help me ysliit@yahoo.comand I will be online all day.Thank you,JKNIGHT |

| All you have to do is visit Microsoft's SQL Server home page:http://www.microsoft.com/sql/default.mspxThere you will find a list describing all of the features and requirements for each edition. The Developer Edition has all of the features of the Enterprise Edition, except for the licensing. You cannot use the Developer edition to deploy in a production environment. |

| Developer edition doesn't have a data size restriction. It will run on NT4, Windows 2000, XP and 2003.So you can't use Windows 98 or 95.Damian |
