I have installed successfully (according to log file) MSDE 2000 rel A on a PC, and I see the SQL Service Manager icon...

but I cannot see the window where I can create and maintain databases (adding and maintaining tables.....)

my setup.ini file just contained the following lines:

[Options]
TARGETDIR="C:\MSDE2000RelA_TargetDir\"
SAPWD="gelida"

Might someone help, please?

You will need somthing else to do this like Enterprise manager,Query Analyzer or MS Access.

And you just gave everyone your system administrator password!!!

ok, I have installed now SQL Server 2000 Evaluation Edition and, yes, the Enterprise Mgr is there
