They ditched the Service Manager in this latest release, so there's no built-in tray applet for this anymore. |

Jasper Smith has written a cool replacement for SQL 2005. currently it is beta code, but it is worth checking out if you miss your Service Manager that much.http://www.sqldbatips.com/showarticle.asp?ID=46-ec |
