I did all that what they suggested in the Instrucion. I dont have any previous vertion of SQL server. Ms .net frame work 2 Beta Installed. Then what.. its XP Professional -

Pending Reboot Requirement (Error) - What to do...Sad me. :(

A friend suggest me to Uninstall my VS.net and Try SQL EXP - he says ">>> The order, apparently, is important" !!! But i am wondering.. I cant do this cus of many reason.. On going projects exisits. Dependent softwares are running associated with VS.net!

So if any one can suggest and alternative solution for this.. it will be thankfull...

Hi Aiby

I had the same problem.

Read this.

You can clear the PendingFileRenameOperations entry in the registry.

Microsoft does not advise you to edit the registry manualy.
But it worked for me.
