Hi all.

Whilst looking at one of the SQL Server db's I noticed a new table which is a complete copy of one of the other tables in the db. I haven't created this table so I'm a bit curious about it's existance, namely who created it?

Is there anyway of finding out the history of the table, or better yet of viewing all the transactions on the database from a specific date. I think that this information is held in the transaction log yet I've no way of reading it. I've looked at the SQL Server logs and they just tell me a db's backup and start-up history.

I'm using SQL Server 2000 on Windows Server 2000.

Thanks.

Running the Profiler is one of the ways so that you can watch each transaction
