I would like to generate sql script from sql server 2000 via tasks generate script.I want to generate a script for the whole database with tables and it data in table with Stored proc. etc.Can you please tell me, i tried using the generate script from tasks, but i don't see the data coming with it. it is only bringing the tables database with tables structure plus stored procs.Please help, Thank you very much for the information. |

If you want all the table structure AND the data wouldn't it be easier to just take a BACKUP and RESTORE it on the target machine?Kristen |

That is correct, it doesn't give you the data. If you want everything, just use BACKUP/RESTORE method.Tara |
