Think of the savings.

The helpdesk would get less calls from users who don't know how to turn a computer on.

The bosses would be happy coz they would save on electricity

The users would be happy coz they wouldn't have to wait for Windows to boot (though I'm not sure how you would know if it had crashed!)

The stress this causes will fill the hospital waiting rooms.

With the old fashioned sorts of computers, the ones that needed to be turned on, we didn;t have all that worry about Schrodinger's cat :)

The glass will always be full when you drink from it, but empty when you are not looking at it!

I was actually defining, concurrently, the definition of a Best Mate and a Worst Mate!

(The Worst Mate is the one with the reputation for "First out of the taxi, Last to the bar!")

but i have to admit, this is pretty intriguing

kinda like a sci fi movie, is it possible without power?
is it possible without having to turn on the computer?

so the power button will be gone???

ok, that depresses me... in an odd sort of way...

Seems very power-efficent doesn't it?

Does Microsoft have a date for .NET to run on a photon-based computer?

All we need is for someone to invent time travel, at any time in the future, and then Microsoft can ship it last week!

all those laser inteferometers aren't running on milliwats

Kristen, you just single-handedly proved that time travel is impossible
