Hi Gurus
I need soem urgent information.i have installed sql server enterpirse edition eval version on one of my machines.Now i want that developers should be able to coonect to that machine or register that server.I want to buy sql server developer edition and i checkied this link "http://www.microsoft.com/sql/howtobuy/default.mspx" now is this the right link to purchase developer edition??
it is wriiten there that "The retail price for Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Developer Edition is $49.95. Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Developer Edition may be installed and used by one user to design, develop, test and demonstrate your programs"
please provideme the link from where i can purchase developer edition?

The link that you posted is correct, just check out the section at the bottom called "Obtain SQL Server 2005".

Each developer that will connect to this server will need to purchase a developer edition license. So if you've got 5 developers, then you'll need to purchase 5 developer edition licenss.

I have no use for tools that do the same thing as the ones that come with SQL Server.
