I don't know what that means and have never seen it. Could you post the exact message?

i will tell you the steps
1)run set up
2)sql server 2000 componets
3)install db server
4)upgrade,remove or add componets to an existinf instance of sql server
5)add components to your existing installation
6)then we uncheck every componets except client connectivity and it gives the error you have not selected any componest to install .
when i check cliewnt connecttivity i dnt see any component in sub component window

You need to select Create a new instance of SQL Server, or install Client Tools instead of the upgrade, remove, or add components option.

Add Remove programs in Control Panel just like any other uninstallation.

Did you try googling on the error that you are getting in Enterprise Manager? There is probably an easy fix for it. You didn't post it here, so I can't google it for you (like we usually do for you).

You originally said that you were getting a snap in error from Enterprise Manager. We need to know what the exact error message is in order to help.

I have no idea what you've done. I'm not there to see your system. Can you run isqlw.exe from Start..Run?

Then you didn't uninstall it. So we need to see the error.
