Aman writes "Hi,

We are moving from Oracle Database to SQL server 2005. Would like to assess the sizing and capacity planning for our new SQL Server 2005 database. My current Oracle database information is :

Oracle RAC, 2 node cluster
Number of Records : 100 Million
Size of database :
Reporting database 100 GB
2 CPU * 2 nodes
RAM is 4 GB
growth rate in last 2 years 100%
expected growth rate for next 2 years 200%

Any help is greatly appreciated.
