I understand. I just miss the occasional flamewar. I don't think Joe bothers with those anyway.

I haven't seen Joe do that. Usually, he just does a "drive-by" and leaves them bleeding from multiple wounds.

I'm thinking waaaaaaay back, to Crespo and dtong. Aggravating then, but in retrospect they were some good times.

This was a nice little flame war; maybe a little one sided.
http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=57782

SQLTeam doesn't really have anything to compare to the famous SQL Server Central "Bankers Rounding" flame war. Never was more vitriol wasted on such a stupid subject. The first thread got so bad they started a new thread, and it got just as bad there: 372 posts on the first, and 376 on the second. Good times.

Here is something a little stronger from Celko:

I somehow don't think you're alone there Tara, he can be really obnoxious..

I just ignore his tone as much as possible.

This quy is posting every little problem he runs into, and doesn't seem to be able to do anything himself. Not really a twit, but getting old fast.

How many people did this guy mail?

I love, after I reprimanded him for spamming his immediate reply is 'U forgot to answer on question ...'

Nor on memory either apparently. He's posted like that before and received no help there either.

I've locked his account. He just posted a very nasty topic. For those of you who can see the "spam bucket" forum, you can find it in there. I left it in there rather than deleting it for proof of why I locked his account.

You need more than 10,000 posts to be allowed to remove SPAM, and thus to see the Spam Bucket.

I'm curious. Would you mind mailing me a screenshot/copy-paste of his post?
