"Is it really too difficult for everyone?"

I resisted the urge to go Celko on him. I am SO proud of myself.

Joe would have told him to quit working with databases and to find a job he a capable of doing, like mopping floors.

And then told him to stop using ID columns because "pointers" have no place in a relational database.

And then had a 20 line signature to spam all his books.

I think Rob did a Tiananmen square on him. (Just ran him over with a tank.)

I didn't! And I don't think they ran over the Tank Man in Tiananmen either.

Although nobody's SEEN that guy since then...

...and not sure intrinsic will be back either

Here's Celko going full Celko on some poor guy:
http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic1213607-392-1.aspx
"...The Dynamic SQL you posted is an admission of failure and incompetence..."

And then Craig Farrell going full Celko on Celko:
"Don't worry Celko, your continued posting is admission of failure on the part of evolution to remove the volume of bone from the skull that apparently keeps pressing on the regions of the brain where a hint can be taken..."

Oh, yes you DID! You could have just said "Learn 2 ask questions correctly!" However, you posted a BEAUTIFUL diatribe on the correct way to ask a question, and the correct answer to said question. THAT is running him over with a tank.

It would have been a Celko if you shot him with the tank too.

I'm not sure why this thread went so wrong. I thought we were having a technical discussion, but then things got nasty.
