error code 208 on trans log backup

error code 208 on trans log backup

Hey all,
During my maintenance plan which backs up the transaction logs, I continue to get a warning that reads :

Event Type: Warning
Event Source: SQLSERVERAGENT
Event Category: Job Engine
Event ID: 208

Description:
SQL Server Scheduled Job 'Transaction Log Backup Job for DB Maintenance Plan 'SLIM_Backup'' (0xACB563C3F3F2F347931D90CD69B95604) - Status: Failed - Invoked on: 2006-08-24 21:30:22 - Message: The job failed. The Job was invoked by User IMCLONE\MatthewRose. The last step to run was step 1 (Step 1).

I've verified the logs and the logs seem to show that it does back them up. There are mltiple databases within this plan, and it appears all of them show up. Any ideas are well appreciated, this is not the only SQL server I have this issue with.

i do know that all of my servers run SP3. I Can try upgrading a dev server to SP4 and try to recreate the issue. Besides that option on that list, all of the others do not apply to me. I'll try that in the meantime, but any other suggestions are gladly accepted :) thanks
