I am using QA.Usinf the mouse, When ever I want to select a part of a line, I click the first character of my selection with the mouse, and When I want to select a part of my line, the cursor goes to the end of the line instead of stopping at the character in which I want to stop the selection.
Do u know how I can avoid this, since it s annoying me.
Thank you for your help.

What are you doing to select the end of the selection?

I do this and it works fine - click where I want to start the selection, hold down the shift key and click the end of the selection.

OR using the keyboard, move cursor to the start, hold down the shift key and use the right arrow to move to the end of the selection.

cool i didn t know that, was clicking the begining of my selection with the mouse, and without holding the shift key, i would slide my mouse till the end of my selection, and here, bammmmp, it would go to the end of the line or the begining of the line instead of stopping at the character Shift Key and see what it ll give me
Thanks a lot guys.

Sure, you can drag select too. But you have to be accurate, if you drag off of the current line the selection will suddenly select the next line too.
