Dear experts,
i learned from this forum a lot.one good point among them is,before deleting or truncating some table,it is good to take backup.how can i take backup?i find the option for complete database.but what about the table backup?
where can i find that
please guide me.

You can't have a backup of single table. You have to backup a completed database.

To Backup the data base you can use:


BACKUP DATABASE sampleDB TO DISK= 'D:\SampleDB.bak' WITH INIT


sampleDB to be replaced by you database name..

Simply make a copy

SELECT * INTO BackupTable FROM yourTable
