I know the failings of the Snitz Search comes up from time to time.

I was trying to find this thread:

http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=73074&SearchTerms=bollocks

and of course the keyword which sprung to mind was "bollocks" - but it didn't find anything. It doesn't get censored in the text, does it in the search perhaps?

It's almost acting like it isn't searching replies. Weird. I'll do a little research on it.

Yeah, well SEARCH doesn't seem to want to find "xxyyzz" in the "site related discussion" forum ... so TEST FAILED I reckon

EDIT: Ah, it finds Bollocks OK!

OK, I have to ask (especially since it will be an 11,000th post of distinction):

Why exactly are you looking for bollocks anyway?

Thank you, I'm here all week.

Wouldn't you want to find them if they were lost?

Only if they were mine. Of course, if they WERE truly lost, I'm not sure finding them would make me happier.

You guys have no chance of understanding, especially when I tell you it relates to the English Public School system especially given that "Public" in this context means it is not available to the public.

You mean it should be a Client Side operation rather than Server Side?

That's normally my first line of attack, but I sometimes don't find what I remember having typed, and I have come to assume there must be instances where Google does not freshen up a thread after-the-fact.
