I have created a web application for a client that uses SQL Server 2000. It is hosted remotely and my client wants to be able to perform the backups themselves. However, they do not have SQL Server locally therefore, they do not have enterprise manager and they can not manage the database.

Is there a free program that they can use to do things like execute a DTS package remotely?

Thanks,
enak

Well I don't know about DTS, but I suppose it's possible

Just use osql with T-SQL to do the backup

But this sounds pretty shady...who's the dba?
