erik writes "Hi,I have been after this question for over a year and i am to the point in my database design that i am in big time need for this answer. I have worked with sql2000 and then onto sql2005 night and day and i have never gotten this answer from a fourm that made since. So this is letting me know that i am missing something really simple..I need to know how to design the Unit of Measure tables.Example: If i have a product that it's price with base on the Width x Height... How would i design this type of table? If you go to this site here ->http://www.blinds.com/control/subCategory/categoryID,5 you will see a GET prices for your window size... And next to that you will see dropdown list with the width x height..Can someone please tell me with some scrpt how to do this? Thanks alot!Erik" |

Store the units with the smallest possible measure. If that is inches or millimeters, I cannot tell. Then do the calculation to other measures on asp-page.Peter LarssonHelsingborg, Sweden |
