Dear All,

I have a problem on one of my SQL servers. This is the SQL server for tests purpose.
On it I have three instances of SQL 2000 8.00.2039 (SP4). On the default instance I have a running maintenance plan in order to backup the user databases on a regular basis.
For this, the job of database backup is running once per day. But the sqlmaint.exe process is hanging, and will never finish, and one can see that the process is doing nothing (a look in the task manager).
What can happen? Of course this was previously working correctly, but I don't remember when, sorry.
Thank you for any help.
