| Hi pals,I need a small help from u all.Using SQL 2000 server,do we have a provison of doing the "ftp" a file from a remote machine.on that machine i need to change the dir and then i need to "put" that file to my database server.and in my stored procedure i'll written the logic to load data from excel to sqlserver table.Do we have that provision of connecting to the remote machine.Or else do we need to write a batch file and in that we need to embed the ftp code.and then execute the stored procedure.If any suggestions plz let me know.
