Anyone know if the priority boost option slows down DTS packages? Technically they run under an EXE other than SQL Server which is given the boost... I ask because it takes 3 minutes to open perfmon when the boost option is set. I'm going to test it out but was just wondering if anyone had already done testing.Thanks. |

I've never tested DTS packages with the priority boost option. I do know that our most of our production environments perform better in general with the priority boost option turned off. |
