I believe people are generally asking for Schema information. It really depends on the purpose of the document and who is asking. In my experience, people in the organization look to DBA's for different pieces of information.Network guys like to know how to scale the box...They like to know things like:Hard drive: Number, size, io, number of CPU, network cards number of ports with their intended useage.Database folks like:Schema - Conceptual and Physical, relationships (ddl/triggers) Application Developers like:Stored Procedures and/or Table information i.e. how do I get information in and out, how will the information be presented when called, what do I need to do to gather the required info for pushing data. You can do anything at www.zombo.com |
