Hey, just to be serious, this has got to be the best tech site I've ever been to...and all has to be because of the community

Thanks for everything (and the great windshirt...which I happened to wear to work today)

I just had a guy in the orifice tell me today that cursors are faster..."I benched mark them, and they are faster then the original query"

Now I get to rewrite his stuff...oh joy...why don't they ask BEFORE...I always seem to be riding in after the fact...why it always the case

Anyway, Thanks for a great community

I'll trade you, Brett. I got a pile of nested while loops and nested stored procedure calls dumped on my desk. And for some reason the users are complaining about the speed of the application. Only 15 seconds to run the queries to load a page. Maybe I should set profiler up to figure out how many actual queries are run in this pile of $expletive. My bet is 3,000 queries to load one page.

Oh, and congrats, Brett.
