I currently have SQL Server 2005 running on a 64 bit box, my question is that when I went to download SQL Sever 2005 Express Edition for my laptop I also noticed that there was a seperate link for the 64-bit install of SQL Server 2005 Express Edition. My question is Do I need to load the 64-bit install to my laptop or is this for the actaul server? If so, I just need to load the normal version of SQL Server 2005 Express Edition for my laptop?

You need to load the 64-bit version of SQL Server on a 64-bit server. Your laptop will use the 32-bit version of the install. You probably just want to install the client tools on your laptop and not the server/engine.
