I noticed something strange this morning, I came in to run a report and the login would not work. So I checked the login and the default database had been changed. How can this happen?

Have you applied a hotfix or service pack?

anybody else has dbo access to the server and they changed it?

It'll happen if the db is recreated.

No other dbo or admin. no hotfixes. this sql 2000.

Doesn't matter, it happens if user's default db is recreated.
