I dont have access to code until tomorrow as it is a remote site, but it has been working fine for over 1 year then suddenly just stopped, the only thing that has changed was microsoft update but that was two days before it went off

Gonna be hard to troubleshoot then

Can you create a file on that server?

Have you tried bouncing the box?

Well, then, what's a "scanning system" Is it SQL Server based, or some other application code?

Other than, all I can say, is something must have changed recently
