Dear All,

In some of the tables of our website database, fields were modified with "HaCKeD By sari_seytan". Is this any virus or some one hacked the website intentionally.

pls suggest.

Thanks

What are the possible ways through which this could have been achieved.

Many Thanks.

1. you got infected with a trojan horse virus and they took control of your machine.
2. they hacked your site using sql injection ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SQL_injection )
3. they hacked your site using cross site scripting ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross-site_scripting )
