Hello all, poolman here. It has been a while since I logged on last to the forums. My job functions have moved to more of a project management role than programmer. I still do some coding from time to time. I am also proud to be passing my skills and knowledge to a new programmer we have. She is new to SQL and has struggled, but with each question she asks, she grows. I am thrilled to be one of the people who supplies answers, tips and tricks to her.
Which lead me to this thread. Over my 8 years of coding, this forum and each of you, are what I turned to when I couldn't figure something out. I didn't always post a question, sometimes it was a quick search for answers. But it was always here. I can't recall ever hitting a wall and not finding a workaround here.
So I wanted to pop in and just say a simple word of thanks. Your guidance and teachings over my 8 years were invaluable. I know that I could learn more and should the need ever arise, I know exactly where to turn. Hats off to each and every one of you. From Brett and his welcomes to Tara and her sheer mountain of knowledge, this forum is undoubtably the cream of the crop. And no forum is a great forum without great people.
Keep up the great work. I know it gets frustrating answering some of the same questions over and over, but trust me when I say that you are building the next great programmer. Those early answers are so very helpful. I know, they helped me tremendously.
Until next time friends, take care, and thank you!!

"will have to fix that"
Where are you going to find a sufficiently skilled programmer then, eh? !! |

Yes, I still know a thing or two! In fact, I helped my Network Administrator shut his down just last weekend.

Thanks! I hoped things like this would happen. I started this site so smart people could learn from each other. I'm glad the site is helping people.

Yikes! That was the exact opposite of what I was trying to say. Fixed. Thanks!
