Hi Every body,

I had a problem with Sql server when it is upgraded to sql server 2000 from sql server version 7 ,and that to with out stopping the services running on the old version.

And the Problem is , "Unable to connect to the database" while iam trying to connect in the new version.

Please Help me out.........

You probably just installed it alongside Sql 7. So you may have a separate named instance for Sql 2000. Was your installation successful, and that the service for the new Sql 2000 is running?
Did you use SERVER\INSTANCENAME to connect to the new instance?
