| I cannot connect to my SQL2005 server using the old SQL ODBC drivers, I have to use the Native client drivers. The database I am trying to connect to is a SQL 2000 db I just attached. | I had to download the latest version of the MDAC, Microsoft Data Access Components, onto the machine. It turned out that the version of the dll it was using for the ODBC connection was ether incompatible with the application, or it was corrupt.Regardless, issue solved. Very quirky though. Silly connections... |
