Hi,I have a database which contains 5 db_owner. If I need to remove two of them (they have left the company and are not being replaced) so db_changedowner is out of the question. What is the proper way to do this?Do I need to transfer their ownerships to one of the existing db_owner? |

There can only be one user that owns the database, which is different from dbo. If one of them does, then switch the ownership to an existing account that has dbo privileges, then drop the users.Tara KizerMicrosoft MVP for Windows Server System - SQL Serverhttp://weblogs.sqlteam.com/tarad/ |
